Which are the different Editions of Desktop Calendar XP?
Desktop Calendar XP comes in two flavors - Free Edition and Premium Edition.
What is the difference between Free & Premium Editions?
In Free Edition, you can see the Demo Image Pack (12 pictures) only. There are about 100 image packs (100x12 =1200 images) are available for download in the web site. Desktop Calendar XP Premium Edition can display all these pictures in the Calendar. Besides, for Premium Edition, there are about 50 Talking Buddies are available for download in the web site. But Free Edition contains only one buddy - Peedy. You can see a comparison here

How can I purchase Premium Edition?

In the Order Form, there is a column for Product ID. What is this Product ID and how can I obtain it?
Product ID is a unique code assigned to Desktop Calendar XP to prevent piracy. It is essential to make your Premium Edition Unlock Key. So, please correctly specify your Product ID in the Order Form. Run Desktop Calendar XP, click Settings Button and go to About Tab to see your Product ID. Click here for a screenshot.
My Premium Unlock Key is not working in another computer.
The Premium Unlock Key issued is based on the Product ID submitted by you at the time of purchase and it will work only in the computer from which you obtained Product ID. For another computers, you have to obtain a new Unlock Key.
I can't see Image Packs in the settings window except the 'Demo' pack.
In Free Edition, you can see the Demo Image Pack only. To access all 100+ image packs, you have to purchase Premium Edition. To know more about Premium Edition, click here.
How can I download more Image Packs?
Login to Member's Area with your Premium User Name and Password to download Image Packs.
Can I make my own Image Packs?
Yes. There is a tool called DTC XP Image Packer with which you can make your own Image Packs. It is bundled with Desktop Calendar XP.
How can I see the Image Packs made with Image Packer in Desktop Calendar XP?
In Desktop Calendar XP Free Edition, you cannot see the Image Packs made by you. You must purchase the Premium Edition for this. To know more about Premium Edition, click here.
What if my Buddies refused to talk?
Download and install the following three files.

I cannot see dates in the Calendar. Only blank boxes are visible.
You may be using a very old unstable version. Please install Version 5.05 of Desktop Calendar XP.
Runtime Error 9 - "Subscript Out of Range" is displayed at startup.

In the settings window, I can only see the first 12 pictures of each image pack even the list shows 20 pictures.
You may be using earlier version of Desktop Calendar XP. Versions prior to 2.50 have 20 images in each image pack. From Version 2.50 onwards, only 12 images are available in each image pack. Please download and install Version 5.05 of Desktop Calendar XP.
Can I distribute this software to my friends?
Of course. Feel free to distribute the Free Edition of the software to your friends, colleagues and whoever you like. But do not transfer the Installation Password. Please ask them to register the software through this Web Site to get their Installation Password. You are not permitted to transfer the Premium Edition Unlock Key. Failed to do so may result in the cancellation of license.
What if I find a bug in the software??
Desktop Calendar XP is still in developing stage and may contain minor bugs. Please contact us if you found any bugs. Please explain exactly what you did and what happened.
